Vietcong: Fist Alpha MP demo

Complete the picture.

Following Kristan's dissection of Vietcong: Fist Alpha's single-player campaign last week, gamers are now getting the chance to trial its multiplayer aspect in a new demo released by developers Pterodon/Illusion Softworks on Friday.

The 175MB demo, available here, is apparently compatible with Vietcong and Fist Alpha running at versions 1.60, and comprises the Fist Alpha map Bridge and the Vietcong map Stream, both with all game modes available.

According to the readme file, demo players can join any version 1.60 server (VC, Fist Alpha or Demo) running these two maps, but will be limited to the Soldier class, even though they can pick up any weapons dropped by other players.
