New Imperial Glory demo

Try your hand at blatting johnny foreigner on both land and sea with Pyro Studios' latest offering.

A demo for Commandos developer Pyro Studios' new strategy game is now available at Gamer's Hell.

Imperial Glory is billed as "the most extensive strategy game ever". It features "an in-depth management model" and real-time land and naval battles, all lovingly rendered in full 3D.

There are five 19th century empires to choose from - France, Russia, Prussia, Austro-Hungary and Great Britain - and each has its own unique attributes. Expect the usual combination of resource management, technology research, trade negotiations and all-out war.

Imperial Glory will be in the shops on April 29 and is published by Eidos, who will almost certainly be under new management by then.
