Ubi to publish Shadowbane

Ubisoft has acquired the rights to distribute MMOG Shadowbane all over Europe, with a "Gold" edition of the game featuring the original release version and the new expansion The Rise of Chaos due out in January on PC and Mac.

Shadowbane was released in North America last March, and Ubi intends to launch the European Gold edition to coincide with the release of several new Shadowbane server worlds including the ice world of Vorringia. Ubisoft's online division ubi.com looks set to handle network and server infrastructure, billing, customer service and in-game support.
