The fourth Resident Evil film, Afterlife, has entered production and will be released in cinemas next autumn.

That's according to website ShockTillYouDrop, which heard the news from Hollywood studios Screen Gems and Constantin Film.

Milla Jovovich will return as the heroine Alice, and be supported by her-out-of-Heroes Ali Larter and him-from-Prison-Break Wentworth Miller, who'll be playing Claire and Chris Redfield, respectively.

Paul W.S. Anderson will once more direct, and shoot the film in zeitgeist 3D.

"Alice's battle with The Umbrella Corporation isn't finished," said Anderson, teasingly. "Last time we saw Alice, she let them know she was coming after them. It's time to settle the score." 7/10.
