MotoGP 08 confirmed for Friday

First fully-fledged Capcom effort.

Capcom will definitely be releasing MotoGP 08 on Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 and PC this Friday.

There's not been a lot of talk around the game, perhaps because this is the first full flock of Capcom-created and published titles in the series. Previously, THQ and developer Climax did the honours on Xbox, with a rival Namco series on PlayStation.

As such, Capcom has made some changes, and opted for a more simulated take on the quite dangerous-if-you-ask-us pursuit.

That means the inclusion of 125cc and 250cc bikes and riders, not just MotoGP big-shots, and a detailed tutorial mode to get to grips with it all.

Players can also set about creating and customising their own riders and bikes, as they race through entire seasons attracting sponsor and team attention, and eventually become a two-wheel star.

PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 owners will be able to race online against up to 11 others, too.

Look out for our thoughts soon.
