Microsoft announces Xbox Live Rewards

Microsoft's announced an Xbox Live Rewards program designed to give UK and US gamers Microsoft Points for simply doing stuff.

Microsoft's put out a table detailing the rewards. Have a gander at it below.

The idea is you earn Microsoft Points by watching movies and sports and playing games, among other things.

When you sign up for an Xbox Live Gold subscription, or renew your existing membership, you'll get MS Points, too.

For example, if you renew your existing one month Gold sub, you'll get 10 MS Points. Renew a 12 month sub, though, and you'll get 200.
