Mega Man X, Kid Icarus on Wii, eShop this week

Plus a Dead or Alive Dimensions demo.

SNES classic Mega Man X will be re-released for the Wii's Virtual Console on Thursday, Nintendo has announced.

Capcom's seminal platformer will cost 800 Wii Points on the Wii Shop Channel (£5.60).

On 3DS, Game Boy adventure Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters arrives on the handheld's eShop. It costs £2.70/€3. Myths and Monsters is a sequel to the NES original and is released ahead of brand new 3DS title Kid Icarus: Uprising, out at the end of the month.

Downloadable 3DS Mii golfing game Fun! Fun! Minigolf Touch! is also new this week. It is an enhanced version of the WiiWare original and costs £4.50/€5.

There's also a free demo of decent 3DS fighter Dead or Alive: Dimensions, which launched last year.

Back on Wii, NeoGeo fighter Samurai Shodown IV: Amakusa's Revenge is available on Virtual Console for 900 Points (£6.30). WiiWare horror platformer Anima: Ark of Sinners also gets a free trial.

Finally, on DSiWare, there's 1001 Blockbusters (200 Points, about £1.80, nothing to do with Bob Holness) and Successfully Learning Mathematics: Year 5 (500 Points, £4.50).
