Magic 2015: Duels of the Planeswalkers heads to Xbox One

But no PlayStation versions this year.

The next Magic the Gathering video game will release on Xbox One - but there are no PlayStation versions this year.

Wizards of the Coast today announced Magic 2015: Duels of the Planeswalkers, the video game version of the trading card game, for PC via Steam, Xbox 360, Xbox One, iPad, Android tablets and the Kindle. However, unlike previous entries in the Duels of the Planeswalkers series, Magic 2015 is not heading to either PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4.

Magic 2015, out this summer, revolves around the cursed Garruk Wildspeaker, who is now hunting other Planeswalkers, including the player. New this year is the ability to add cards found in booster packs to any deck, as well as a stronger link with the paper game. It is once again developed by Stainless Games, the Isle of Wight-based maker of Carmageddon.
