Flight simulations to go with flight sticks.

Joystick maker Mad Catz has opened a development studio called ThunderHawk.

Its mission is to make MMO flight simulations that compliment existing Mad Catz flight sticks.

The first game made by ThunderHawk will take off next year.

Mad Catz CEO Darren Richardson called ThuderHawk an "important milestone" in the company's pursuit of "expanding our participation in developing, publishing and distributing games".

Mad Catz is renowned for its must-have fight stick accessories for fighting games such as Super Street Fighter IV.
