Hello Steam Guides

Valve's answer to GameFAQs.

Valve has launched Steam Guides. Guess what it does.

It's a place for people to share their guides for games or software. You find them on the Steam Community hub or by opening the Steam in-game and going to the Guides tab.

Steam Guides has some nifty functionality, not least an index that lets you break the often monstrous works into easy-to-get to sections. Check out this Torchlight 2 guide as an example. Guides can also have images, videos and tables.

Guides can be categorised so you can pinpoint the help you need a bit easier, too. Better still, they can be rated by the Steam Community, so the good stuff will naturally rise to the top.

Already, 1215 Steam Guides have been published.
