Forza tops UK Charts

Continues to lap the competition.

Sales of Microsoft's Forza Motorsport 2 may have dropped by 46 per cent, but the title is still top of the UK All Formats charts for the third week running, GamesIndustry.biz reports.

The Xbox 360 exclusive is holding off competition from Take-Two's movie tie-in The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer at number two, which has this week seen a 70 per cent surge in sales.

Sales of Codemasters Colin McRae: DIRT have dropped by 29 per cent, although the game has climbed one space to number three, overtaking Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean at number four, which saw sales drop 35 per cent.

Wii Play is at five this week, with Activision's Spider-Man 3 at number six and Eidos' Tomb Raider: Anniversary at number seven.

Nintendo's Dr Kawashima's Brain Training is at number eight, with Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 6 at nine and 505 Games' Cooking Mama at number ten.

This week's highest new entry is Activision's Shrek The Third at number 13, with the game expected to climb the charts next week upon the release of the PS2 version.

Empire's Xbox 360 racer FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage debuts at number 14 in the charts, with 505 Games' Armoured Core 4 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 just managing to make the charts at number 39.
