Fall Guys is heading to Switch this summer

UPDATE: And Xbox One, Series X/S.

UPDATE 18/2/21: Fall Guys will also arrive for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S this summer - the same time as on Switch.

Developer Mediatonic made the announcement this afternoon, hours after confirming a Nintendo Switch edition during the Nintendo Direct broadcast last night.

There's no word yet on whether the game will launch via Xbox Game Pass, or whether it'll feature crossplay.

ORIGINAL STORY 17/2/21: Developer Mediatonic's smash hit multiplayer rough-and-tumbler Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is heading to Switch this "summer".

Fall Guys, if it's somehow managed to pass you by, was a monster success when it released last year on PlayStation and PC. Its delightful, family friendly party game spin on competitive multiplayer - pitting hordes of daffy bean people against one another across a multitude of increasingly ridiculous obstacle courses - was appealing enough to see the game blast through the 2m sales barrier on Steam within its first week on sale.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting news of Fall Guys' arrival on other consoles for quite some time, so there should be plenty of excitement around its imminent launch on Switch this summer, even if the game's popularity has settled to more manageable levels since release.

There's not much to report about the Switch version at present, but expect plenty more details as its summer arrival approaches.
