Entertainment Software Association president Michael Gallagher has told the LA Times that E3 may leave Los Angeles in 2013 if certain issues are not resolved.

According to Gallagher, the ESA is "preparing to go elsewhere" if needs be, although discussions with officials are ongoing.

The problem is construction of the proposed Farmers Field sports stadium, which will result in the destruction of the LA Convention Center's West Hall and may impact access to E3's traditional venue too.

According to the LA Times, cities like San Francisco, New York, Chicago and New Orleans are all possible candidates if E3 decides to leave town.
