Divinity games going cheap on GOG

Pick up the pair for around a tenner.

Larian Studios' Divinity games are going cheap over on GOG.com.

Classic RPG Divine Divinity is now available for $5.99 (£3.65 / €4). The follow-up, Beyond Divinity, will be out soon and priced at $9.99 (£6 / €6.75).

The original Divinity, you may recall, was an isometric RPG released in 2002. "I remember the release of Divine Divinity as if it was yesterday," said Larian bossman Swen Vincke.

"We had no clue how people would react to the game and weren’t sure that our RPG mix was going to appeal. Then, suddenly we got bombarded with emails and forum reactions from people enjoying the game, and received award after award from the specialised press. It was a very rewarding time."

A new instalment in the series, Divinity II - Ego Draconis, is in development for PC and Xbox 360. You can see how it's shaping up over on Eurogamer TV.
