Dead or Alive 5 Collector's Edition announced

A limited Collector's Edition of Dead or Alive 5 is on its way, publisher Tecmo Koei has announced.

The set includes the game, a hardcover art book, CD soundtrack and full colour poster, all packaged in an embossed metal case.

Oh, and there are "premium swimsuits for the full cast of playable female characters" too, according to the announcement. What? No Speedos for the chaps? For shame.

There's no word yet on how much the pack will cost.

In addition to that, there's more swimwear-related frippery for anyone confident enough to slap their cash down now for a pre-order, either for the standard edition or the collector's set.

You'll be able to choose between two exclusive sets of in-game "bunny-style" outfits: white DOA Angels clobber for Kasumi, Leifang and Hitomi, or black DOA Devils black swimsuits for Christie, Tina and Ayane.

The Team Ninja-developed sequel is due out PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 from 28th September.
