Dates set for Gamescom 2010
Cologne event to take place in August.
The organisers of the Cologne Gamescom have set the date for next year's event.
Gamescom 2010 will take place from 18th - 22nd August. Once again it will be held at the Koelnmesse and preparations are already underway.
"Compared with the previous year we are noticing that the industry is approaching their plans for participation in gamescom 2010 much earlier and with more decisiveness after the successful initial event," said organiser Oliver P. Kuhrt.
More than 17,000 trade visitors went to see 450 exhibitors from 31 countries at Gamescom 2009. Over 245,000 visitors attended in total. There were also 4100 journalists, apart from on the last day when we were a bit hungover so it was more like 3997.
