Crysis 2 dated

First multiplayer screen revealed.

Crysis 2 will be released in Europe on 25th March 2011, developer Crytek has announced over Twitter.

It'll be out three days earlier in North America.

Earlier this month EA delayed the game, moving it from its planned "holiday 2010" release to some point in the first three months of 2011.

No explanation was given.

Crysis 2 is set in a devastated New York, and features lots of impressive-looking aliens.

It'll run in 3D, too, across the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Christian Donlan went hands-on for Eurogamer in June.

First multiplayer screenshot is below.
