Black Ops' "worst kept secret" revealed

ZOMGbies.

Zombies have finally been confirmed for Call of Duty: Black Ops by publisher Activision.

The four-player, wave-based co-op mode was outed prematurely by a Bradygames guide for Black Ops earlier this week.

Activision acknowledged that Zombies was one of the "worst kept secrets" of COD: Black Ops.

There's not much detail on Zombies, as it's plainly known. A press released comment by Treyarch head Mark Lamia promised "brand new zombie experiences" and "a nice surprise for fans".

Treyarch's new Call of Duty game also has a new co-op multiplayer mode called Combat Training for up to six people.

Activision also used the opportunity to announce that Prestige and Hardened editions of Call of Duty: Black Ops will contain four updated co-op maps from World at War.

Also note that Call of Duty: ZOMBIES will be released for iPhone and iPod Touch tomorrow, priced $5.

Call of Duty: Black Ops will launch on 9th November.
