Classic Star Trek games digitally premiere on GOG

Starfleet Academy! 25th Anniversary! Judgment Rites!

A trio of classic Star Trek games by Interplay have made their digital-distribution premieres on GOG.

These classic titles will live long and prosper on GOG.

These include Star Trek: 25th Anniversary (1992), Star Trek: Judgment Rites (1993) and Star Trek: Starfleet Academy (1997).

25th Anniversary is a point-and-click adventure with sound effects, music and voice acting from the TV series, Judgment Rites was its sequel, and Starfleet Academy was a space training sim.

While Starfleet Academy is PC-only, the other two Star Trek titles are also available on Mac and Linux.

Each game costs $5.99 (about £4), or your local equivalent.

"It's Star Trek's turn to shine on," said GOG VP of business development Oleg Klapovsky. "We're always excited for the chance to restore lost video games to modern PCs. There are very few that deserve the treatment more than the Star Trek classics, and we've done everything to make sure they work flawlessly."
