CeX accepting Bitcoin in 30+ UK shops from today

Swap shop CeX now accepts Bitcoin in more than 30 shops in the UK, with plans to expand to 256-plus shops in the future.

There's a list of the shops supported, plus some handy Bitcoin explainers, on the CeX website.

The roll-out follows a successful trial in Glasglow's Sauchiehall Street CeX store earlier this year. There's a Bitcoin ATM in that store, as well as in Manchester's Arndale CeX, where you can convert your money.

Bitcoin is the radical and experimental digital currency that does away with banks and all the stuff they stand for. It's a currency for the people, ostensibly, and is still finding its feet.
