Broken Sword creator Charles Cecil has revealed the first hints of what we can expect from his next game.

Cecil was speaking during a Q&A session at the Eurogamer Expo in Leeds, where he was asked what he's currently working on. "It's such a wet thing to say, but I'm not allowed to talk about it," he replied.

"All I can say is, I am working with Dave Gibbons and we're working on a new adventure game. We have a number of ideas for premises and we honestly haven't decided which road we're going to go down. But I love writing and playing adventure games and that is what I'm going to stick to."

Cecil and Gibbons previously worked together on Beneath a Steel Sky and the recently released remastered version for iPhone. It's not a huge surprise to learn the two are teaming up again - after all, Cecil hinted as much during a recent interview.

During the same Eurogamer Expo session, Cecil was asked how wannabe game designers should get their ideas noticed. "If you're really brave and really have confidence in your idea, borrow some money and put it out on iPhone because there are no constraints," he said. "But there are 16k apps out there, so it really had better been very good."

Cecil was asked the question by a chap who has just released his first iPhone game, Culica Mobile - now available in the App Store for 59p. You can also pick up Beneath a Steel Sky Remastered there for £2.99.
