Cave shmup DoDonPachi Resurrection is now on Steam

The bee's knees.

Cave's notoriously difficult bullet hell shmup DoDonPachi Resurrection is now available for PC on Steam.

DoDonPachi Resurrection was first released in Japanese arcades in 2008 as Do-Don-Pachi Dai-Fukkatsu (which translates to Angry Leader Bee Great Resurrection) before arriving in the west via iOS in 2010. We highly recommended its mobile port and its 2011 XBLA release.

"For players willing to develop their palate and get to grips with this deep and flexible experience, the rabbit hole runs deep," Eurogamer contributor Simon Parkin said in his review of DoDonPachi Resurrection's Xbox 360 release.

DoDonPachi Resurrection usually costs £22.99, but it's 15 per cent off at £19.54 and comes with a free soundtrack so long as you buy it before 24th October.
