Call of Duty's new seasons postponed

To "later dates".

Activision has postponed its new season in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, due to go live this week.

In a statement posted to the official Call of Duty Twitter account, Activision said the launch of Modern Warfare Season 4 and Call of Duty: Mobile Season 7 would shift to "later dates".

There's no word yet on when those might be.

"Right now it's time for those speaking up for equality, justice and change to be seen and heard," Activision wrote.

Sony similarly delayed its plans to unveil PlayStation 5 games via a high profile showcase later this week.
