Battle: Los Angeles game in the works

Says Australian Ratings Board.

A game based on upcoming movie Battle: Los Angeles is in development.

That's according to the Australian Classification Board, which says the game is published by Konami and developed by Saber Interactive.

Saber is the studio behind TimeShift and Namco Bandai's upcoming shooter Inversion.

Battle: Los Angeles (called World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles outside the US) depicts an alien invasion of North America, and stars Michelle Rodriguez and Aaron Eckhart. It feels a bit Independence Day.

It's due out in March 2011. Eurogamer has requested comment from Konami.
