BAFTA is looking for a breakthrough Brit in the fields of film, TV and games. Any ideas?

This being a video game website, we're interested in the games bit. BAFTA wants to honour someone who has displayed "exceptional ambition" and has "captured our imagination as a star in the making", and it's after nominations.

Candidates must be UK nationals, making a name for themselves and have published a work between October 2012 and October 2013.

After a shortlist of candidates has been selected, BAFTA will decide on its breakthrough Brits, each of whom will get a chance to be mentored by mystery leading industry figures as well as feature in a publication made to showcase their work.

If you know someone who fits the bill, nominate them by emailing breakthrough@bafta.org. The deadline for nominating other people is Monday 1st July 2013, and all nominees must have completed their application forms by 8th July 2013.
