PlayStation Plus Collection explained

The PlayStation Plus Collection is a new feature coming to PS Plus for the PS5. It will allow you to digitally download and play a number of popular PS4 titles from the moment of the PS5 launch.

This means that you can play games like Persona 5 and God of War on the PS5 from the very first day of the console's release. It's very similar to the Xbox Game Pass when you think about it.

A number of titles have already been announced and more games will be added after the release of the PS5.

There will be no added cost for the PlayStation Plus Collection, as it will be included in your PlayStation Plus subscription automatically without any hidden fees.

Any game you download from the Plus Collection will be available to you for as long as you're a PlayStation Plus member and, when playing the games on a PS5, you'll be able to enjoy a number of improvement, such as increased loading speeds.

The PlayStation Plus Collection will be available from the moment the PS5 is released, which will be on Thursday, 12th November in the USA, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea and on Thursday, 19th November for the rest of the world, which includes Europe, the Middle East, South America, Asia and South Africa.

It's important to note that the PlayStation Plus Collection is different to the PS5's backwards compatibility capabilities, which you can learn more about on our dedicated PS5 backwards compatibility page.
