£270 Borderlands: Handsome Collection edition returns with top hat and moustache

Several months after the game's release.

Remember that ridiculous (but I quite wanted one) Borderlands: Handsome Collection special edition that came with a remote controlled Claptrap robot and cost £270? Did you buy it? Let me rephrase that. Would you have bought it if the Claptrap robot had a moustache and a top hat, and a painted-on tux? Because for some reason that's exactly what GameStop will be stocking in November, several months after the game came out (27th March 2015).

The tongue-tying Borderlands: The Handsome Collection Gentleman Claptrap-in-a-box Edition will sell for £270 and launch 27th November.

As with the earlier special edition, the box includes either a PS4 or Xbox One version of Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, which is the 1080p60 remastered version of old-gen game Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel. Digital Foundry took a look at how remastered it really was. There's four-player local (split-screen) or online co-op, and you can transfer Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or Vita saves.

Also inside is the Claptrap robot itself (I should bloody well hope so), which has a camera eye, some recorded lines it can blurt out, and a microphone so you can talk to it while you cook dinner. You control the robot with an iOS or Android app.
