Hello Games casts doubt on leaked Joe Danger 2: The Movie XBL release date

"It's unlikely we'll release it before it's finished."

Hello Games has cast doubt on an August release date for Joe Danger 2: The Movie, which popped up on Xbox.com overnight.

According to Xbox.com, the game launches on Xbox Live Arcade on 29th August 2012, complete with offline multiplayer for two to four players and leaderboards.

But according to Hello Games boss Sean Murray, the release date comes as a complete surprise.

"I don't think the date is real, probably just an accident," he told Eurogamer this morning. "If the date is real, then it's genuinely news to us, and we better get this game finished real quick.

"When I saw it first it made me lol a little bit, then it scared the s*** out of me. It's unlikely we'll release it before it's finished though."
