Raven Shield expansion planned

It's raining bow

IGN reports that Raven Shield, the recently released third game in the Rainbow Six series (which we are reviewing, don't worry), will be expanded upon in short order, potentially as soon as July. Although IGN is a bit coy about where it got the information, they imply that someone at Ubi Soft accidentally told them. Hurrah!

However they don't speculate on the name. When we first heard about this, immediately we saw ourselves typing Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield - Some Daft Subtitle, which would have been the longest and most pointless name in our database. Sadly, we're not going to see that, because Ubi is apparently happier emphasizing the Rainbow Six element. So Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Whatever seems to be the general idea.

Um, gameplay details? Let's see. There'll be terrorists. There'll be… guns. And probably grenades. And doors. Yes, doors. And probably some measure of opening doors to shoot terrorists with guns. Apart from that, we're not sure. We'll let you know when we are.
