We really like it when publishers give us free crap to play with on our mobile phones. Obnoxious ringtones, pointless logos - you name it. If it can annoy people on the train or make us look stupid, then we're there.

However, Eidos' latest scheme seems to want us to pay £3 per screensaver, background and ringtone, with a range of phone options slimmer than Lara's waist. Various logos and ringtones are now available via EidosMobile.co.uk to celebrate the forthcoming release of Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness.

According to Eidos' head of marketing Ric Williams, "This is a unique opportunity for Lara's many fans to get even closer to their heroine." Or, possibly, a not-so-unique opportunity for Eidos to make some money out of expectant Lara fans.

As you can see to the right, we've posted the big Lara render that came with the press release. Enjoy it: it's free!
