Europe to get Zelda/Platinum Cube bundle
Nintendo confirms reports
Nintendo has suspended its informal campaign of neglect in Europe, admitting this afternoon that we'll be getting a Platinum GameCube and Zelda bundle - but refusing to be drawn on further details.
Earlier today, Cube Europe reported that the bundle would be in place for May 3rd and linked to this rather Photoshoppy-looking German packshot. A Nintendo spokesman wouldn't confirm the date or pack details, but did confirm the pack's existence.
Nintendo is banking on Zelda driving gamers to buy GameCubes, after US and Japanese software failed to bolster hardware sales to any significant degree in either region.
