LucasArts to release Galaxies special edition

Extra toys

LucasArts is to produce a run of 75,000 special edition versions of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, which will be available when the game launches. Whenever that will be.

The special edition version will include an art book, containing all the sketches produced during the concept stage, a pewter figurine of a zabrak character (which reminds this writer of the Id Anthology with its pewter Cyber-demon), a sew-on patch with the game logo, and a badge with Imperial and Rebel insignias. According to GameSpot, there will also be a signed, spiral-bound manual.

We haven't been able to confirm if the special edition will be available in Europe, but with the game still some way off we should have some time, and we have a feeling that the sort of people who lust after a pewter zabrak won't be deterred by international boundaries anyway…
