Elder Scrolls off-screen for PS2 owners

The man from Bethesda, he say no!

GameStop is indeed guilty of posting erroneous info on make-believe software, if you'll give Elder Scrolls developer Bethesda Softworks the benefit of the doubt.

In July of last year (blimey), GameStop listed Elder Scrolls Adventures for PS2, and we commented on it, having already witnessed the retailer's penchant for accidentally adding unannounced software to its listings - like GTA Vice City.

However, Bethesda has finally spoken out on the situation, commenting that "we are not currently developing an Elder Scrolls game for the PlayStation 2," and adding that "that information is completely bogus." Gnarly.
