Speaking of wrestling games, EA has confirmed that Def Jam Vendetta has gone gold, and is shipping off for mass distribution. The yanks are getting their grubby mitts on it on March 18th on PS2, with a Cube version following shortly afterwards, but the AKI Corporation/EA Canada developed wrestler won't be out in Europe until April 11th on PS2. The Cube version is out on May 16th.
We wouldn't normally get too excited about this sort of thing, but a few hours with Def Jam yields a wrestler of surprising substance. It could turn out to be a pleasant surprise, rap stylings or not. And hey, who doesn't want to beat up rappers occasionally?
