The multiplayer demo of Pterodon / Illusion Softworks' Vietcong has been patched to remove a handful of meddlesome bugs. The patch is about 12.5MB and can be downloaded direct from publisher Take-Two here.

According to the accompanying documentation, the 0.98 patch fixes everything from "the flying bug" (an alternative to which, the developer suggests, is the rather excellent Flying Heroes) and holes in the scenery, to the problem with a muted spectator mode and the player's binoculars not behaving like a toggle. Other specific changes are covered in the readme notes.
