UK to miss out on Space Channel 5
But the rest of Europe can look forward to it
The long awaited PlayStation 2 version of Space Channel 5 Part 2 will not appear in the UK, Eurogamer has learned, but the rest of Europe can look forward to it.
According to sources, Sony UK has ordered an allocation of zero units, and although Sony refused to say why when we put the question to them this morning, they did confirm that "we don't have any plans to publish SC5 Pt.2 in the UK, at the moment".
But despite confirming the news, the platform holder still regards it as "speculation", which we're told it does not comment on. Ho hum.
The title has recently disappeared from the release date listing on Sony's press extranet here in the UK. If any of our continental readers happens to have access to regional extranets, we'd love to hear from you.
