KOCH to publish new Bitmaps RTS
Legendary Bitmap Brothers sign their latest with KOCH Media
Publisher KOCH Media has signed up the rights to the next title from legendary British developers the Bitmap Brothers, an RTS game for the PC titled World War II - Frontline Command.
The new game, set during the second world war (which you, er, probably guessed from the title really), is due to be released in May, and will now be published and distributed all across Europe by KOCH.
"KOCH Media are regarded highly in Europe both by retail and the specialist press," according to Ed Bartlett, business development director at the Bitmap Brothers. "Frontline is shaping up to be a fantastic and broad-reaching title, and we have absolute confidence in the abilities of the KOCH Media team to do the product justice."
KOCH managing director Craig McNicol is also enthusiastic about this new signing, commenting that "The Bitmap Brothers are the calibre of development team, which will define KOCH Media's titles for 2003. Signing, what is probably their finest game to date is a major advance to KOCH Media and further establishes us within the European publishing arena."
