Spring Cell for PS2, Cube and GBA

But PC release date loses clarity

Having escaped an exclusivity contract with Microsoft at the end of 2002, Ubi Soft has been taking steps to wake the world up to Splinter Cell on other platforms since then. Anticipation levels piqued with the release of a PC demo, and now we have the first two screenshots of the game running on PlayStation 2 - click here to see those.

Ubi Soft claims that the PC version of the game is due out in early 2003 - having previously stated the game would launch on January 31st. Of course it might still do, but we're always sceptical when publishers stop being firm. Regardless, it will soon be joined in "spring" by PS2 and Cube releases, and even a GBA version.
