Pikmin, Mario sequels in development
Miyamoto says in Playboy
"Mario 128" and "Pikmin 2" are both in development, Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto has reportedly confirmed in the most peculiar of oracles, Japan's weekly Playboy magazine. According to a story on IGN, the famous videogame producer namechecked both titles as currently in development, also reportedly stating that "I believe that with this game you'll be able to feel the 'newness' that was missing from Mario Sunshine."
Both games have been mooted previously by Miyamoto-san, with the Mario 128 demo having been shown at the original unveiling of GameCube, but this is the first hard-on confirmation we've encountered.
