eJay competition winners

It’s a festival of lowercase lettering

This week's competition gave you the chance to win a pair of music software suites. Remember: you don't know you're a musician until you've flicked a few switches and made a modern masterpiece! Or something ear-shatteringly awful, but whichever way you look at it, unless you can already wield the odd guitar or caress the odd piano, a couple of music suites are bound to improve your output. And even if you do know what you're doing, surely a potload of samples to play with is a bonus?

Twiddle them! Now!

Anyway, there was a bit of consternation over the competition question, which asked you to identify the non-musician out of a field of composers. Some of you felt that our odd one out, Bon Jovi double Kevin Bacon, counted as a musician at least in a small way, and some of you registered your discontent (or perhaps your ignorance) by claiming Hanz Zimmer was the ugly duckling. So, ambiguities considered, everyone who entered is eligible for the prize. But now that the selection of winners is over, we can reveal that none of you cheeky Zimmers won anyway.

The three lucky fellows who will be enjoying music of their own making in the near future are Keith Ellis, Adam Toocan and Derek Tittensor. Congratulations to the three of you, and check your inboxes at some point today for instructions! Those of you who lost out, never mind, watch this space for more competitions.
