The Xbox version of Serious Sam, which is an amalgamation of the first two PC games in the FPS series, is now set for release on December 6th according to publisher Take-Two, having previously been pencilled in for Q1 2003.

The Xbox game recently went gold in the US, and the European version is expected to make its way past approval in time for December.

This is great news for Xbox owners eager to eke some more FPS value out of their console, but PC owners shouldn't fret either. According to Take-Two's latest release schedule, Serious Sam: Gold, which includes similar levels of content, is due out on January 17th. The perfect answer if you missed out the first time around.
