Activision brings forward The Clone Wars release on GameCube

The flagship GameCube version of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, probably the most exciting of all the Star Wars Episode II games, will appear in Europe a week earlier than anticipated. Activision has brought forward the release of the game to coincide with Episode II's appearance on DVD, both of which now appear on November 15th.

Meanwhile, we unearthed the news that the PS2 version of the game is now scheduled for release in Q1 2003.

Activision is the third publisher to bring a high profile game forward this month. Earlier, Konami and EA dragged their respective PS2 footballing monstrosities forwards to try and get the jump on one another. Whatever the reason for doing it chaps, please keep doing it.
