Platoon movie released

Digital Reality, developer of Platoon: The 1st Airborne Cavalry Division in Vietnam (that's a heck of a subtitle), has released a 38.6MB movie of the game in action (available from 3DGamers), with a cinematic intro and more than six minutes of in-game footage.

Platoon puts players in the role of Martin Lionsdale, a newly wed and newly recruited member of the US Army, and the game features what's described as an emotive narrative which introduces you to Martin, his feelings about life, love and the war, and some of Martin's friends in the platoon. The game sees you climb the ranks and take control of an entire infantry platoon (up to 30 men).
