Hypnotix has developed what it describes as a 'booster disc' for Outlaw Golf, which will be released in the US by Simon & Schuster in due course. However, unlike previous booster discs (like the one American Dead or Alive 3 owners were offered to bring the game into line with its continental counterparts), this disc will not update the original game, instead serving as more of a demo for the forthcoming sequel, Outlaw Golf 2.

The booster features nine holes of the Glacier Ridge course, which is one of the new courses featured in Outlaw Golf 2, and apparently the updated game engine on display will address many of the criticisms levelled at the original game.

Outlaw Golf is still a stone's throw from release. European publisher TDK Mediactive is expected to release the game before the end of the year. There is no word on whether the 'booster disc' will appear in Europe.
