LucasArts confirms that The Clone Wars has gone gold

Star Wars: The Clone Wars for GameCube has gone gold and will ship to stores in the US in time for an October 29th release date, according to developer LucasArts. The Cube version of the game is down for release in Europe on November 22nd, with a PS2 version following on December 6th.

The Clone Wars is one of the most exciting of the games based on Attack of the Clones. Players will lead the Republic army in the climactic battle against the resurgent Sith lords led by Mace Windu and Darth Sideous - the game starts with the film's finale and goes on from there. A sixteen mission single player campaign will also be backed by team-based, deathmatch, king of the hill and co-operative multiplayer modes.
