The publisher that brought us all Shrek, the passable but not exactly amazing adventure game based on the movie, have turned their hand to the infamous "party" genre. Shrek: Super Party is due out this Christmas, and features three modes - a multiplayer board game, mini-games and a single player game against the AI.

The board game aspect features 30 mini-games. We don't know exactly how they all work, but we have some of the names at hand: Barrel Rollers, Dragon's Breath, Brick Bashers, Egg Pen Addict, Castle Crumble, Hidden Treasure, Sewer Rats, Lily Pad Leap and Sticky Tongues. You'll be able to team up with your friends or battle against them to earn bug juice - Super Party's equivalent of points - taking on one of several roles; Shrek, Princess Fiona, Lord Farquaad, Donkey, Monsieur Hood or Thelonius.
