PC Releases

Friday is release day for computer games in the UK, and there's a good selection of new and re-released titles on offer this week. Top of the list is "Heavy Metal : FAKK2", the third person sci-fi action-adventure game from Ritual and the Gathering of Developers which has been available in the US for some time now, and has finally arrived in Europe. This week's other new releases are "Wizards & Warriors" and "Golf 2001".

Meanwhile Infogrames have let rip with a whole range of budget re-releases, including top titles like "Total Annihilation : Kingdoms", "Discworld Noir" and "Wheel of Time". The real star though is "Outcast", one of the best and most innovative games of last year. An action-adventure game using gorgeous voxel graphics to create a truly unique alien world, Outcast features a vast world to explore, dozens of characters to talk to, and the best game soundtrack we've heard in a long time. Well worth a look if you don't already have it!
