have posted the first part of a preview of the four best Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) role playing games for the coming year.

From its inception in 1972 by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson, to the forthcoming third edition rules in August, D&D has kept many a gamer busy for long nights. But it is only recently that we have seen real quality games come out of the genre with the arrival of Fallout and Baldur's Gate. The article looks at four D&D RPG's that are expected this year, Icewind Dale, Baldur's Gate II, Pool of Radiance 2 and Neverwinter Nights, and goes into how each game expects to make itself that bit different from the chasing pack.
