Zoid to leave id Software

The man behind Threewave CTF, David "Zoid" Kirsch, announced in his .plan today that he is leaving id Software after three years working as a contract programmer for the company, producing Q2CTF and working on Linux ports of the Quake games amongst other projects.

His new gig is at Retro Studios, which is working on games for Nintendo's next generation console, the Dolphin.
