Tim talks about optimising the Unreal Tournament engine for the PS2 and the costs and benefits of licensing the engine, as well as taking a swipe at Monolith. It also includes confirmation that curved surfaces, height maps for outdoors areas, hardware T&L support, and skeletal animation for characters are all on the way for the engine.
